The Adaptive Follow-Up Agent manages the complete nurture sequence. It adjusts timing, channel, and content based on each lead's engagement, escalating only when strong buying intent emerges.

What Adaptive Follow-Up Agent Solves

Static nurture sequences blast the same message at the same time to all leads. Your SMS on day 5 might hit a cold lead (reply: 'Stop') and a hot lead (reply: 'Ready to talk'). No differentiation. Adaptive Follow-Up Agent adjusts every aspect based on lead behavior. Hot leads get faster, more frequent touches. Cold leads get spaced out. The agent detects buying intent and escalates to a human only when the lead is ready.

How It Works

The agent receives each lead and launches an adaptive sequence. Every touch is adjusted based on prior engagement. Escalation to an agent happens automatically when buying intent threshold is crossed.

Lead Profiling & Initial Sequence Calibration

The agent profiles each lead's temperature (hot, warm, cold) and sets initial touch frequency and channel accordingly.

Assess lead temperature: hot (replied), warm (clicked), cold (no engagement)
Set initial frequency: hot = every 2 days, warm = every 5 days, cold = every 10 days
Select channel: SMS for urgent, email for detailed, call for hot
Set escape hatch: 'Stop' on SMS unsubscribes from that channel

Continuous Engagement Monitoring & Adjustment

After each touch, engagement is measured. Frequency and channel adjust based on response.

Track opens, clicks, replies, call answers per lead
If no engagement for 3 touches, back off: reduce frequency by 50%
If 2+ replies in a week, escalate: move to daily, switch to SMS
If unsubscribe requests, move to email-only, then pause

Intent Detection & Human Escalation

As intent signals accumulate (multiple replies, call answer, request for details), the lead is escalated to a live agent automatically.

Intent score increases with: replies (10pts), call answers (15pts), specific questions (20pts)
Threshold: 40+ points = escalate to agent with full conversation history
Send agent notification: 'Lead escalated. Intent signals: [list]'
Pause automation once escalated; agent takes over
